General Information on Personal Data Protection Law

Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as KVKK) was adopted on March 24, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 dated April 7, 2016. Part of the KVKK came into force on the publication date, and part of it came into force on October 7, 2016.

Information as Data Controller

In accordance with Law No. 6698 KVKK and as a Data Controller, your personal data will be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed/transferred to third parties in cases permitted by legislation, classified, and processed in the ways specified in the KVKK within the framework explained on this page.

How Your Personal Data May Be Processed

In accordance with Law No. 6698 KVKK, the personal data you share with our Company may be processed by us, either completely or partially, automatically, or through non-automatic means, provided that it is part of any data recording system, obtained, recorded, stored, modified, reorganized, in short, subjected to any kind of operation performed on the data. Any operation performed on the data within the scope of KVKK is considered "processing of personal data."

Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Your Personal Data

The personal data you share will be processed in accordance with Law No. 6698 KVKK and related secondary regulations for the following purposes:

  • To be able to perform the requirements of the services we provide to our customers in accordance with the requirements of the contract and technology, and to develop the products and services we offer
  • To record identity, address, and other necessary information to identify the transaction owner within the scope of Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, and related regulations
  • To arrange all records and documents that will serve as the basis for transactions in banking and electronic payment areas, electronic contracts, or paper-based transactions
  • To be able to provide information to prosecutors' offices, courts, and relevant public officials upon request and as required by legislation in matters related to public security and legal disputes

Information About Third Parties or Organizations to Which Your Personal Data May Be Transferred

The persons/organizations to which your personal data shared with our Company may be transferred for the purposes stated above include: primarily persons and organizations related to the services offered such as our Company's suppliers, cargo companies, program partner organizations from which we receive services and/or cooperate with as a Data Processor, domestic/foreign organizations, and other third parties.

How Your Personal Data Is Collected

Your personal data may be processed and collected through:

  • Forms on our Company's website and mobile applications through information such as name, surname, TC identity number, address, phone, business or private email address
  • Oral, written, or electronic media through channels such as our sales and marketing department employees, our branches, our suppliers, other sales channels, paper-based forms, business cards, digital marketing, and call center
  • Personal data shared by persons who establish commercial relations with our Company, apply for jobs, make offers, etc., through business cards, resumes (CV), making offers, and other means
  • Additionally, data obtained indirectly from different channels, data from websites used for purposes such as blogs, competitions, surveys, games, campaigns, and similar purposes, and data obtained from social media

Your Personal Data Obtained Before KVKK Came into Force

Your personal data obtained lawfully before April 7, 2016, the effective date of KVKK, through membership, electronic communication permission, product/service purchase, and other means, are also processed and preserved in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this document.

Transfer of Your Personal Data Abroad

Your personal data collected through any of the methods listed above, processed in Turkey or processed and stored outside Turkey, may also be transferred to service intermediaries located abroad (in countries accredited by the Personal Data Protection Board and where adequate protection for personal data exists) within the scope of KVKK and in accordance with contract purposes.

Storage and Protection of Personal Data

Your personal data will be stored confidentially in the databases and systems at our Company in accordance with Article 12 of KVKK; they will not be shared with third parties in any way except for legal obligations and the regulations specified in this document. Our Company is obliged to take software measures such as access management and physical security measures to prevent unlawful processing of personal data in accordance with Article 12 of KVKK, to prevent unauthorized access, and to protect the systems and databases where your personal data is stored.

Keeping Your Personal Data Current and Accurate

In accordance with Article 4 of KVKK, our Company has the obligation to keep your personal data accurate and current. In this context, for our Company to fulfill its obligations arising from the current legislation, it is necessary for our customers to share accurate and current data or update it through the website/mobile application.

Rights of the Personal Data Subject Pursuant to Law No. 6698 KVKK

Article 11 of Law No. 6698 KVKK came into force on October 7, 2016, and according to the relevant article, the rights of the Personal Data Subject after this date are as follows:

The Personal Data Subject may apply to our Company (data controller) and request the following regarding themselves:

  1. To learn whether personal data is processed
  2. To request information if personal data has been processed
  3. To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose
  4. To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad
  5. To request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly
  6. To request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of KVKK
  7. To request notification of the correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred
  8. To object to the emergence of a result against the person through the exclusive analysis of processed data by automatic systems
  9. To request compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data

Data Controller Information

BLUELIFT INDUSTRY TRADE LIMITED COMPANY, registered with the Izmir Menemen Chamber of Commerce, located at 29 EKIM MAHALLESİ, 10005 SOKAK NO:5 MENEMEN/İZMİR, is the Data Controller within the scope of KVKK. The Data Controller Representative to be appointed by our Company will be announced in the Data Controllers Registry and on the internet address where this document is located when the legal infrastructure is provided.
